CCRES has awarded student Melanie Witte a Dr. Michael J. Kelly Pathways Scholarship, which she is using to assist with college expenses as she pursues a career in pediatric dentistry at Alvernia University.

CCRES representatives recently joined the Octorara School District Board and Steven Al. Leever,Ed.D, superintendent at the Octorara Area School District, in presenting the scholarship to Witte.

A goal of CCRES is to give back to the community through grants and scholarships.

The scholarship program was created in 2023, awarding grants to qualifying students, enabling them to attend post-secondary educational institutions, including career and technical schools.

While the awards can apply to traditional colleges and universities, they can also fund attendance at trade schools, such as licensed practical nursing, cosmetology, construction, and technology programs.

Awards can also pay for certification exams, special fees, or tools and equipment associated with a student’s coursework or academic program.

CCRES is dedicated to providing exceptional educational and behavioral health services across Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Delaware, Montgomery, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Philadelphia counties.

Its mission is to ensure quality educational and human service programs for children, families, and schools, in addition to grant opportunities.

With a steadfast commitment to delivering the highest quality services to children and adults experiencing behavioral health challenges, CCRES looks for opportunities to expand and enhance its impact across Southeastern Pennsylvania.
