Bradley Cooper and his daughter, Lea, were among the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest fans at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, writes Katie Kindelan for ABC News.
A lifelong Eagles supporter, Jenkintown’s Cooper was spotted on the field at Caesars Superdome before the Feb. 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
After the Eagles’ 40-22 victory, Cooper reflected on the emotional full-circle moment of attending games with his late father and now bringing his daughter. “I used to come with my dad, and now I get to bring my daughter. It’s just a beautiful thing in life,” he told Fox Sports.
Lea, 7, also joined Cooper at the NFC Championship game in Philadelphia on Jan. 27. Cooper shares her with ex, model Irina Shayk.
Before kickoff, Cooper had a special role, introducing the Eagles as they took the field. Holding an 8-year-old boy he invited after the child went viral in an MDMotivator video, Cooper hyped up the crowd. “Alright, from the City of Brotherly Love… your 2024 NFC Champions!” he shouted before leading an “E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!” chant.
Cooper has long spoken about the profound impact of fatherhood. “This is gonna dictate everything you do from now on,” he said on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast. “Your DNA is going to tell you that there’s something more important than you.”
