Jawn Supply in West Chester, which specializes in premium vintage athletic gear, has struggled to keep vintage Philadelphia Eagles gear on the shelves due to high demand, writes Elizabeth Wellington for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
But this weekend, customers got the chance to choose from its sizable collection of recently added items.
“We were planning to drop around 100 pieces Saturday morning, but it’s looking more like 200,” said Jawn Supply owner Ben Rowe earlier. “This is our biggest drop ever.”
The shop’s popularity is hardly surprising, given it has the stamp of approval from several well-known Eagles players, including Saquon Barkley, Jake Elliott, Brandon Graham, and Reed Blankenship – all of whom have visited the Chester County location.
Jawn Supply often posts Instagram videos that showcase its puffy coats, sweatshirts, and tees, all of which have got thousands of likes. Its storage room is filled with specialty items, such as the soft green pinstriped zip-up sweater which were worn on the field by Eagles coach Buddy Ryan in the 1980s and 1990s.
The shop also offers vintage pieces from the Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers, along with plaid shirts, webbed cords, and graphic tees.
