Maintenance Manager
Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to work with its maintenance team.
The Maintenance Manager will:
- Manage a team of knowledgeable associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds in accordance with current federal, state and local standards/regulations and company policies.
- Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment (life safety knowledge).
- Possess strong project management experience and able to oversee and manage others through completion of projects.
- Coordinate resident maintenance requests.
- Maintain positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
- Assess property damage and file property damage claims in accordance with company policy.
- Respond appropriately to resident and/or community emergencies, assisting as needed.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and work with residents and staff.
- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Driver
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Driver to join its team. This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:
- Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications for this position include:
- CDL preferred but not required!
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Sales Counselor
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Sales Counselor to join its team.
Daily responsibilities of a Sales Counselor include:
- Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all prospect inquiries are managed and that timely follow through is maintained in accordance with designated time frames.
- Uses Direct Sales Performance Indicators (DSPI’s) to set goals and diagnose areas of strength and needed improvement.
- Generates adequate presentations by effective prospecting. This can include phone outs, referral generation, use of e-mail, home visits, etc.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid presentation skills (small and large group).
- Strong closing skills.
