Devon Horse Show Continues Bryn Mawr Hospital Partnership with Huge Donation

The Devon Horse Show made a large donation on December 6 to Bryn Mawr Hospital, continuing a partnership over a century old.

The Devon Horse Show made a sizable donation to Bryn Mawr Hospital during a celebratory check presentation on December 6, writes Max Bennett for the Patch.

CEO and Chairman of the Devon Horse Show, Wayne W. Grafton joined co-chairs Debbie Martin and Beth Previti to present the $375,000 check.

Recipients in attendance were Barbara Wadsworth, COO of Main Line Health, and Cinda Johnson, the Executive Director of the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation.

The celebration marked year 128 of the partnership between the Devon Horse Show and the hospital.

“It’s an honor to be a longstanding contributor to Bryn Mawr Hospital,” Grafton said. “The ability to present this check each year is directly tied to the success of our renowned equestrian event which is run by thousands of volunteers to whom we are grateful.”

This year’s show set a record in attendance, seeing over 125,000 guests.

“Devon has been extremely generous towards Bryn Mawr Hospital for more than 100 years,” said President of Bryn Mawr Hospital John Schwartz. “Devon’s volunteers give of themselves year-round so that we can provide an enhanced experience for our patients and families.”
