Fancy headwear was the order of the day at the Devon Horse Show on Wednesday as women showed off their best hats for the annual competition during Ladies Day, reports Jennaphr Frederick for FOX 29. 

In addition to their colorful and stunning hats, most of the ladies were also wearing items from Malvern-based Posh Collections. 

George Brescia, a fashion expert and one of the judges for the hat contest, made sure to emphasize the importance of pulling the whole look together. 

“That’s what’s really important,” he said. “When you’re doing an accessory like a hat that’s such a statement piece, you want to make sure that the clothing and the accessories really accent it and really pull it together.” 

The theme of the day was Feathers and Frocks. Judges were looking for originality, the compatibility of the whole look, and the confidence of the women while wearing their hats. Most importantly, everybody was looking to have some fun on a gorgeous day in Chester County at the Devon Horse Show.
