King of Prussia District is currently hosting its third annual Igloo Garden on the Green, a dreamy outdoor dining experience popping up in King of Prussia Town Center’s green space, through Nov. 19.

Igloo Garden on the Green is presented by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s King of Prussia Campus.

Bookable exclusively through OpenTable, six cozy igloos furnished by AVE King of Prussia and Ethan Allen offer a private setting for takeout dining (no restaurant service onsite) and feature amenities like sparkling lights, cozy décor, and a Bluetooth speaker to provide a personalized soundtrack for the experience. Diners are encouraged to take advantage of takeout deals offered by 15-plus restaurants throughout King of Prussia. Each heated igloo has a max capacity of six guests and requires a $15 per person donation to Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard (UMACC) for reservations from 12-4 PM and $20 per person for reservations from 5-8 PM.

Igloo Garden on the Green is part of King of Prussia District’s 13th annual food drive, KOP Takes Out Hunger, which is co-produced by Conlin’s Print and benefits UMACC. The food drive runs Nov. 1-30 throughout King of Prussia. Igloo Garden on the Green will raise much-needed funds for UMACC, in addition to collecting food donations.

“Last year, in just one week, we were able to raise $24,340 for Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard, in addition to thousands of pounds of food through our month-long food drive,” said Eric Goldstein, President and CEO of King of Prussia District. “With the support of our incredible sponsors and the community, we are excited to make an even bigger impact in 2024.”

UMACC is a food pantry open to anyone who lives within the bounds of the Upper Merion Area School District and is hungry or food insufficient. UMACC is located in the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church at 191 Town Center Road in King of Prussia.
