Norristown Enhances Support for Small Businesses with Bilingual Assistance
The Norristown Small Business Assistance Center (NSBAC), in partnership with Widener University Small Business Development Center (WUSBDC), has expanded service offerings for small businesses in Norristown.
Whether you are starting a business or seeking to grow your existing one, the NSBAC is ready to assist you through business consulting services and educational programs at no cost. All services are offered in both English and Spanish languages.
In this spirit, the NSBAC, in collaboration with WUSBDC and the Montgomery County Department of Commerce, launched a series of educational training sessions for new and established small businesses. All in-person training sessions will be held at the Dekalb Center Norristown (formally the Human Services Center), located at 1430 Dekalb Street from 8:30-10:30 AM.
Fifteen (15) entrepreneurs participated in the inaugural session on Tuesday, Aug. 21. The event featured special guests including Norristown Municipal Manager Leonard Lightner, Norristown Police Department Community Liaison Rossy Calderon, and Kaylyn Langdon from the Montgomery County Commerce Department. Their involvement highlights the importance of cooperation between community organizations and public officials to build a more informed and prosperous business community.
