The Living Room in Ardmore, a music venue, is closing its doors after six years, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Since opening, The Living Room has attracted artists and audiences from across the nation and around the world with its eclectic music and arts programming.

As April ends, so will the journey of The Living Room, but not before owner Laura Mann hosts a series of farewell performances by some of her favorite artists, including a final show with Jim Boggie and Ben Arnold alongside the 48 Hour Orchestra on April 27. Mann will also perform with Dan Navarro, a longtime friend and collaborator, on April 26.

Mann’s next adventure involves hitting the open road in her Airstream, accompanied by her dogs, Casey and Coco, and a spirit ready to embrace the freedom of travel.

She plans to explore the U.S., with stops planned in Nashville and Los Angeles to reconnect with old friends and fellow musicians, and dreams of visiting National Parks she’s yet to see.

While the future of 104 Cricket Avenue remains uncertain, Mann is optimistic that it will continue to serve as a creative hub. As she prepares for her departure with a furniture sale on April 28, Mann reflects on her experiences, expressing a mix of pride and melancholy about leaving behind a community she deeply loves.
