United by a single cause, thousands of people will once again bike, run, and walk in an effort to advance autism research and care at the sixth annual Eagles Autism Challenge on Saturday, May 18.

As the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles, Firstrust Bank is a proud sponsor of the team’s signature charity event, which has raised more than $25 million to date. That money supports the highest quality and most impactful autism research and care in order to improve the lives of affected individuals and families now. It also fosters the acquisition of knowledge, technologies, and discoveries that will bring new opportunities in the future.

Today, millions of people around the world are connected to autism. The Center for Disease Control estimates that one in 36 people under 21 living in the United States are on the autism spectrum, making it the fastest-growing developmental disorder.

Eagles Autism Challenge participants can choose from one of three cycling options, a 5K Walk/Run, or a Sensory Walk. Several Eagles players also participate in the event, so there will be an opportunity to interact with them.

One hundred percent of the funds raised benefit autism research and care programs.

Known for its deep roots in the Delaware Valley and long history of supporting local initiatives, Firstrust Bank became the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. The partnership aligned two quintessentially Philadelphia organizations that are embedded in the fabric of the city’s identity and share a common history of excellence and service.
