Axios has tallied the cost of a four-person trip to a home game in NFL stadiums nationwide, including a Phila. Eagles. game in South Phila.

Fans planning on catching a Birds game in person this season will do well to feather their financial nests first. Mike D’Onofrio scored the assignment of tallying home-game Eagles fan expenses for Axios.

According to Bookies.com, the estimated price for a family of four to enjoy a live Eagles game is $724.33. This includes tickets, parking, a pair of beers, two sodas, and four hot dogs.

The amount is above the NFL average of $536.77 and is more expensive than attending NFL games in 25 other cities.

The cheapest Lincoln Financial Field ticket averaged about $150.

In the credit-card-to-credit-card battles with the Birds’ fiercest rivals, Phila. fans shell out more than those of the Patriots (a $586 cost) but less than followers of Dallas (a $748 afternoon).

The most expensive team to watch is the San Francisco 49ers, whose lowest-cost seats go for an average $200. An Arizona Cardinals game is a downright bargain; fans can grab a seat for less than $50.

Meanwhile Eagles take the top spot when it comes to booze. A 16-ounce beer will average close to $15, the highest in the NFL.
