Randi Edelman, a designer from Ardmore, recently helped remodel a Main Line couple's home.

After a Main Line couple were done with a major addition to their home, they invited up-and-coming Ardmore designer Randi Edelman, who founded Remy Creative, to put the final touches on the project, writes Ashley Primis for Philadelphia Magazine.

The homeowners had added a new kitchen, family room, and butler’s pantry, and they wanted somebody to bring all the spaces together.

“Their style is streamlined but also a little boho and edgy,” said Edelman. “You’ll see natural accents and materials to soften things up, but also unexpected pops in purposeful places, like modern art and bold wallpaper in bathrooms. Everything is pretty calm, but in the spaces where we could push things, we did.”

Edelman is becoming known for her chill-meets-cheeky style. Opening her business during the pandemic was the fulfillment of her longtime dream after spending years working in events, hospitality, and fashion. And she has been busy ever since, in big part thanks to word of mouth. She has completed almost 70 projects to date.

“This is the fifth house I’ve done in this neighborhood,” she said. “My wallpaper hanger calls it ‘Randi Street.’”
