Fiore Rosso in Bryn Mawr offers modern Italian cuisine, but the steak is without a doubt its biggest star on the menu and one of the best on the Main Line, writes Melissa Jacobs for the Main Line Tonight.

The restaurant opened in the summer of 2022, with celebrity chef Marc Vetri contributing to the development of its dining concept.

The establishment is led by Chef Jesse Grossman, a Bucks County native and Culinary Institute of America graduate, who is quick to correct those who think Fiore Rosso is strictly a steakhouse.

“We leaned into the steakhouse model when we opened, but that’s not the best description of what we do,” he said. “We never served American steakhouse dishes like creamed spinach and baked potatoes. That was not our intention.”

Instead, the restaurant focused more on Italian cuisine.

“We opened with three kinds of pasta and now have eight on the menu,” said Grossman. “We did a lot of listening to guests and that’s what they want.”

The restaurant also boasts an impressive wine list featuring both Italian and American wines.
