13 Montco Newcomers Made Philadelphia Restaurant Scene Buzz Last Year

13 new restaurants in Montgomery County have been cited as recommendable by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Thirteen local newcomers are among the restaurants that made the Philadelphia scene buzz in 2022, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Fiore Rosso in Bryn Mawr is among the high-end additions that made waves last year. The high-style Italian steakhouse features high-end art and a stylish bar. The Pullman is a chic but expansive rail-themed bar-restaurant at Bryn Mawr train station with a traditional menu and stunning bar.

Dua Mediterranean Kitchen and Veekoo, which offers pan-Asian menus, are other Bryn Mawr standouts.

Autana in Ardmore is a delightful Venezuelan BYOB offering delicious tequeños, empanadas, and arepas. Other Ardmore highlights include Char & Stave, Osushi, and Twenty One Pips, a board game/bar concept that is ideal for both date nights and a night out with friends.

Daniel’s in Conshohocken is a bar-restaurant with a good beer, wine, and cocktail menu. Also in Conshohocken is Hook & Ladder Sky Bar, a bar-restaurant that occupies the circa-1874 Washington Fire Co. Firehouse.

FoodChasers’ Kitchen in Elkins Park has plates of homey breakfast and mouthwatering lunch food.

Meanwhile, Pizza Wheel in Jenkintown, and Tresini in Ambler round out the Montgomery County notable newcomers.
