Gorjana, based in Laguna Beach, California, first broke into the Philadelphia market with a Rittenhouse Square store, and now is opening its second Philadelphia-area location early this year, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The second location will open on February 1st in Ardmore’s Suburban Square. The 1,789-square-foot store will be located at 29 Parking Plaza next to a Lululemon store.

The new store will be more than 300 square feet larger than the Rittenhouse Square store and is being designed to look like a California bungalow with live greenery and a hand-dipped tapestry inspired by the Laguna Beach coastline.

Customers will also be able to enjoy a lounge area with beach-themed books and dried floral bouquets.

Gorjana is the brainchild of Gorjana Reidel and Jason Griffin Reidel. The jewelry brand was launched in 2004 and sells earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces.

It is known for its necklaces that can be layered in over 10,000 combinations. A necklace layering set costs about $135, according to the website.

“Pennsylvania has been an incredible, welcoming community for us since we opened our first Philadelphia location in Rittenhouse Row,” Gorjana Reidel said.

The Ardmore location will be the brand’s 64th store. It has stores in 15 states and Washington D.C.
