Mike’s York Street Bar and Grill is re-emerging in the Warminster restaurant scene after being closed for a year, writes Dino Ciliberti for The Patch.  

The iconic mainstay was sold to a new owner who made some changes to the eatery but kept the same name.  

While an opening date is not yet set, there have been rumblings on Facebook that staff are being trained. 

It also secured permits from the township to make alterations to the bar.  

According to an article in The Reporter, the popular sports bar and restaurant used to be known as the Warminster Hotel.  

The property dates to the 18th century originally petitioned for a license in 1730 for “entertainment for man and horse,” and included a racetrack behind the building.  

The restaurant, before closing, was decorated with historical relics including a three-wheeler bike, an old wagon, stone wall entrances, toy cars, a blacksmith shop sign, deer heads, and more.
