In Montgomery County, Brass Collar Brewing Co. will be the newest kid on the block come November.

Pennsylvania continues to be a leading area for the craft brewing industry, writes Emma Dooling in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

In 2022, the Keystone State had 531 craft breweries, only second in the nation to California, and the Philadelphia region has played a big role in the growth and continues to do so.

Coming soon to the Greater Philadelphia area are 8 new breweries and taprooms.

In Montgomery County, Brass Collar Brewing Co. will be the newest kid on the block come November.

The brewery and taproom will be housed in a historic train freight building at 100 S. Front St. in Souderton. On its uncovered outdoor patio, there will also be fire pits and yard games.

Brass Collar Brewing Co. is also partnering with Menagerie Foods of Warminster to offer a menu of traditional bar foods.

The business co-owned by Benjamin Israel and Brody Bisson started out as a distribution-only contracted brewery two years ago right in the middle of the pandemic.

The other breweries slated to open include Future Days Beer Co., Our Town Brewery, Two Locals Brewing Co. and Sacred Vice Brewing Co. in Philadelphia, Second Sin Brewing Co. in Bucks County and Steel City Brewing in Coatesville.
