Wine Is Just One Part of the Experience at Maple Springs Vineyard in Berks County

Not far from Montgomery County in Bechtelsville, Maple Springs Vineyard offers wine lovers a special experience, writes Timothy Walton for 6abc.

When you visit Maple Springs, you can enjoy good wine and explore the 80-acre property, including a tree house overlooking the vineyard.

Guests are invited to sip wine in the treehouse as they enjoy the picturesque view around them.

Marianne Liberman and her wife own the property. Since 2008, they have been cultivating the vineyard and now grow six grape varieties.

To spend time at the vineyard, you need to become a member. The membership includes tastings through appointment only and a chance to pick and crush grapes and preview wines.

Maple Springs wine can be found in more than 150 Philadelphia restaurants.
