Philadelphia is filled with eateries where you can grab a delicious burger or cheeseburger, so it comes as no surprise that several local spots make some of the best in the state, according to PhillyBite Magazine.

Three local eateries and their burgers were recently ranked among the 12 Best Must-Try Burgers in Pennsylvania.

Lucky’s Last Chance on S 2nd Street in Queen Village is a lively bar that offers gourmet burgers, craft cocktails, and a substantial beer menu. Its must-try burger is the “PB & Bacon,” three-time winner of Philadelphia Burger Brawl. It features creamy peanut butter, American cheese, and bacon, and served with a side of house-made jelly.

Also on the list is Village Whiskey on S 20th Street in Center City, which offers gourmet pub grab and raw-bar items alongside specialty cocktails and dozens of whiskey options. The Whiskey King is a must-try. The 8oz burger comes with maple bourbon-glazed cipollini, Roth blue cheese, applewood bacon, and foie gras.

Finally, there is SouthHouse on S 13th St in South Philadelphia. This easygoing pub serves New American fare and plenty of beer options. Must-try is “The Big House.” This delicious bacon cheeseburger is served with applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, spring mix lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and Dijon ketchup.
