A wildflower preserve in Bucks County is offering a free day of family fun and entertainment for families with young children this weekend.

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, located at 1635 River Road in New Hope, is hosting “The Preserve @ Play” on June 10 from 11 AM – 3 PM. The event is a way to open families up to the wonders of nature in one of the area’s most renowned spots for those who love the great outdoors.

Families with children under the age of 14 can come and enjoy the day’s festivities for free.

“This year our theme is Birds & Blooms and offers a full day devoted to family fun and child-friendly activities,” organizers said online. “Look forward to games, woodland crafts, sensory exploration, refreshments, live music by Lolly Hopwood, a wildlife program by The Wilderz Wildlife and more.”

The wildflower preserve has been a longtime favorite destination for local residents and visitors to the area.
