A new Tesla Supercharger station with twelve stalls recently opened at the IKEA in Conshohocken, the home furnishings giant’s United States headquarters, writes Maria Merano for Teslarati.

Conshohocken IKEA is located at 400 Alan Wood Road. The installation of the charging station at the location is both one of the more exciting locations for a Tesla Supercharger while also being a win for IKEA.

IKEA announced in April it plans to invest over $2.2 billion in its growth strategy in the United States within the next three years as it sees “endless opportunities to grow” here. The addition of the supercharging station goes hand in hand with the company’s plans as it provides EV owners who need to charge their vehicles with another reason to visit its flagship store.

Meanwhile, Tesla has also been ramping up the expansion of its Supercharger Network in the last twelve months. In its Q1 Update Letter, the EV company stated that its Supercharger stations saw 33 percent year-over-year growth.
