A new Wawa is about to call West Goshen’s Parkway Shopping Center home. The nearly 59-year-old chain will replace Timothy’s restaurant, which will be a part of the 28,7000 square feet to be demolished, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.

This Wawa is expected to be bigger and better, to meet the needs of the community. The store will have 16 gasoline pumps and larger bathrooms. Parking will also be updated. According to a Wawa representative, parking at the older store was hazardous.

The new Wawa is set to be over 6,000 square feet. Wawa is celebrating its 59th anniversary Thursday, Apr. 13, National Wawa Day. The chain will be offering free hot coffee all day.
