Voices of Gwynedd to Host Classic Musical ‘Godspell’ Next Week

Thanks to its plethora of highly ranked colleges, universities, and independent schools, there is so much that the Main Line region has to offer students.

Gwynedd Mercy University’s world-renowned Voices of Gwynedd will host its Spring Musicale, Godspell next week. The show will run on April 19 at 7:30 PM and Friday, Apr. 21 at 8 PM in the Julia Ball Auditorium.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Stephen Schwartz’s classic rock musical Godspell. Its plot is about individuals with different ideas and backgrounds coming together to build a community.

The Voices of Gwynedd is 100-member choir comprising full- and part-time students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Gwynedd Mercy University.

Directed by Carol Evans, a seasoned soprano and assistant professor of music at GMercyU, the choir has developed into a highly professional choral ensemble presenting quality programs representing many different genres.

Admission to the spring musicale is free.
