Gwynedd Mercy University’s world-renowned Voices of Gwynedd are hosting a Fall Cultural Event featuring Aryssa Leigh Burrs in “Identify” on October 21 at 8 p.m.

“Identify” is a concert experience that utilizes art and music from a vast array of musical styles and collaborative interactions that create a space of ease and connection. Attendees are encouraged to examine the pieces to find empowerment, support, and challenges in their own pillars of identity.

Aryssa Leigh Burrs, an Upper Dublin High School graduate, will be featured in “Identify.” Aryssa has performed with IN Series Opera, UrbanArias, The Seagle Festival, Opera Columbus, and Central City Opera. In 2022, she was an American Traditions Competition Quarterfinalist, and she is the founder of ALB Produces.

In the Apollo’s Chorus in Chicago, Aryssa was the alto soloist and she is currently a choral artist with the National Shrine, The Thirteen, and The Crossing.

Aryssa obtained her undergraduate degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from The University of Maryland. She earned her Master’s of Music in Voice and Opera Performance from Northwestern University, where she was featured in a variety of opera productions and orchestral works.
