Big Barker, the King of Prussia manufacturer of orthopedic dog beds, has earned third-party industry recognition of its product’s efficacy from an independent veterinary educational organization. Markets Insider dug up the details.

Fear Free, the Denver coursework developer that recognized Big Barker, focuses on treatments and products that promote animals’ emotional wellbeing and enrichment, while reducing fear, anxiety, and stress.

Fear Free added the Montgomery County–produced products to its preferred product program, endorsing their use.

It cited University of Pennsylvania data showing the beds’ ability to reduce joint pain and stiffness, improve joint function and gait, and lead to better nighttime rest for arthritic big dogs.

Big Barker founder Eric Shannon noted that the Fear Free recognition is one of only a number of accolades his product has received. “Hundreds of veterinarians in more than 25 states have endorsed and recommended Big Barker beds for their patients,” he said.
