These Chester County Spots Are Renowned by Media Outlets

Esteemed publications such as Conde Nast Traveler and The New York Times have widely recognized destinations Philadelphia area. According to Visit Philly, some of these acclaimed spots are in Chester County

Andiario

This West Chester Italian farm-to-table eatery has been ranked in The New York Times as America’s Best Restaurants 2022. This high-end restaurant’s rotating menu is centered around mushrooms, a Chester County staple, and Pennsylvania guinea hens.  

Victory Brewing 

This Downingtown-based brewery is nationally recognized. Food & Wine magazine has ranked two of its beers in the top 25 most important American craft beers to be brewed. Victory Brewing has taprooms scattered around the Philadelphia region, including Downingtown, Parkesburg, and Kennett Square.  

Longwood Gardens

Kennett Square’s Longwood Gardens was found to be Fodor’s top 12 best botanical gardens in the United States. This 1,100-acre respite from the city has thousands of plant species. Artistic plant displays are exhibited year-round, and the botanical attraction is especially decked out during the holiday season when visitors can see concerts and fountain shows.    

Baldwin’s Book Barn 

Architectual Digest featured this cozy five-floor bookstore as one of the world’s most beloved independent bookstores. This store operates out of a 19th-century dairy barn and has a renowned collection of rare books.
