Community Health & Dental Care (CHDC) has welcomed two new family medical providers:

• Illias M. Almakaev, M.D.
• Danielle Parks, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

Almakaev will serve as a primary care provider to the CHDC location in Pottstown, at 351 W. Schuylkill Road.

Parks is being added to the staff at the CHDC’s Barto office, 1315 Route 100 North.

Almakaev comes to CHDC as an experienced primary care provider who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, earning his M.D. from Tashkent Medical School in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and completed Internal Medicine Residency Training at St. John’s Hospital in Queens, N.Y.

He is experienced in communicating with patients from different cultures and backgrounds.

Further, he practiced as a primary care physician in Staten Island and Brooklyn, N.Y. for the past 30 years.

CRNP Parks earned a Post-Master’s Certificate, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre.

This professional distinction comes atop her M.S. in Nursing from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pa., and her B.S. in Nursing from Kent State University in Ohio.

Parks is also certified as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse and a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
