9 out of 10 people with prediabetes do not know that they have it.

There are approximately 79 million people in the United States with prediabetes, and their risk of developing type 2 diabetes is four to 12 times higher than it is for those with normal glucose tolerance.

CHDC is collaborating with The National Diabetes Prevention Program to help prevent you from getting Type 2 Diabetes. Registration is required to attend this event.

This program will be held throughout January 12, 2022, through May 2022, on Wednesdays from 1 PM – 2 PM in the Coventry Mall Office Multipurpose Room.

Community Health and Dental Care was formed through the generous funding of the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation along with various local businesses.

They opened their doors in October 2008 and have grown to see thousands of medical and dental patients each year. As a non-profit community health center, they have been organized to become the patient’s medical home for preventive care and to promote overall well-being, thus reducing the number of emergency room visits.
