A breathtaking Cirque du Soleil show, Bazzar, is making its North American debut at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks this fall.

Tickets for this unique spectacle, however, are on sale now, well in advance of its Sept. 26 opening. Given the popularity of this kind of entertainment, taking advantage of the early window is key to securing seats, as its run is likely to sell out.

A Colorful Homage

Bazzar is described as a colorful homage to the Cirque du Soleil legacy.

It features a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers, and musicians in an awe-inspiring spectacle.

Lead by their maestro, they band together to invent a whimsical one-of-a-kind universe. In a place where the unexpected is expected, the colorful group imagines, builds, and invents vibrant scenes in an artistic and acrobatic game.

History and Evolution

Bazzar was created in 2018 and has toured in India and the Middle East.

It was relaunched in September 2022 in Brazil and has toured since then in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile, and is about to be presented in Colombia and Argentina before coming to the United States.

The Oaks engagement marks the show’s North American premiere.

What Its About

The international cast of 35 performers and musicians will navigate equipment and performance styles that include:

• Teeterboard
• Acrobatic bike
• Contortion
• Duo rollerskates
• Duo trapeze
• Aerial rope
• Hair suspension
• Fire manipulation
• Slackline, balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing

A new act in Cirque du Soleil history is also on the program: Mallakhamb.

It’s a traditional Indian sport in which a gymnast performs aerial yoga postures and wrestling grips in concert with a vertical stationary or hanging wooden pole, cane, or hanging rope.

Tickets can be obtained two ways:

• Joining Club Cirque, a free program that enables admission purchases immediately
• Waiting until Mar. 20 for general sale through Cirque du Soliel
