Four Montgomery County places are among the ten best Philadelphia suburbs that are singles-friendly, according to a recently released report by Movoto.

The ranking was determined using data from AreaVibes, WalkScore.com, the U.S. Census, and business listings.

Singles-friendly criteria that were used include unmarried population and singles amenities per capita, among others.

Ardmore ranked highest in second place. The Montco town has a 52.05 percent unmarried population and an abundance of singles amenities, including 74 restaurants and 10 arts and entertainment venues. It is also one of the most walkable communities outside Philadelphia.

Willow Grove is next, in fifth place. It is an affordable community with excellent conveniences and a walkability factor that is second only to Ardmore.

Bryn Mawr follows, in sixth place. It boasts 49 restaurants and six arts and entertainment venues, all of which could be the perfect place to meet one of the whopping 80.01 percent of its unmarried population.

Finally, King of Prussia ranked at No. 9, which may be surprising for a geography known more for its retail and business opportunities than a place to reside.

But nonetheless, the community bustles with singles and the features they find desirable, especially 122 restaurants and 19 arts and entertainment venues. Its only downside is that it is one of the least walkable suburbs around Philadelphia.
