Eric Goldstein, President and CEO of the King of Prussia District, has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal 2022 list of most-admired CEOs. Lisa Dukart reported the honor.
The publication recognized individuals from Greater Philadelphia businesses, noting their agility and ingenuity in providing ongoing leadership.
The industries they represent range from life sciences to food and beverage to education.
The initial cut was made by readers who, this year, put forth nearly 100 nominees. From there, the PBJ editorial board winnowed the candidates to a final field of 26.
Goldstein’s noted accomplishments include the continued, notable, forward momentum he and his organization have generated in King of Prussia over the past decade.
Milestones under his tenure include:
- $4 billion in new projects in Upper Merion (as of 2021), helping transform the community into one of the suburb’s hottest towns
- 20 percent increase in employment since 2011
- Transformation of the King of Prussia Business Park to Moore Park, a thriving mixed-use community
- Advocacy work on the King of Prussia Rail Line
- An active calendar of at least 24 events every year
Commenting on the work ethic that has molded his 11 years with the organization, Eric Goldstein said, “Something I do to build high-level trust within my organization [is] … through consistent hard work and by doing what I say I will do.
“I also try to never put myself above any other member of the organization. [I do that] by making myself available to do anything that I would ask of my own staff,” he concluded.
