Blue Bell’s McCarthy & Co. is ending the year on a high note: It has expanded its team, acquired accounting firm Frank Leonard & Associates, and is now moving into a new office in Tinton Falls, N.J., to accommodate its growth, writes Jessica Perry for NJBIZ.com.

The 6,600-square-foot office space is still under construction, but McCarthy & Co. expects to move in by mid-December. The fully branded and renovated office will more than double the space of its current Tinton Falls suite and will be able to accommodate 19 staff members.

Frank Leonard & Associates, which offered accounting and advisory services to transportation industry clients, merged into McCarthy & Co. effective Nov. 1.

“I’ve worked with clients in the trucking and transportation segment for my entire career and understand the financial, risk, operational, capital, and tax issues unique to transportation,” said Frank Leonard, who joined McCarthy as a partner. “I’m excited to be joining the McCarthy team, where I know my clients will receive exceptional client services and where I can continue to grow my book of business.”
