Violinist Alexandra Cutler-Fetkewicz — a frequent musical resource for the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board — has contributed her distinct sound to a new rap recording.

Collaborating with Emmy Award-winning rapper Frzy, she can be heard on his new single, “What Do I Know” from the album Popularity Vs Success.

Cutler-Fetkewicz also works often with David Ivory, Director of Sound Recording and Music Technology at Montgomery County Community College’s Advanced Technology Center in Blue Bell.

The Frzy single details his journey as an artist and the wisdom he has gained through his experiences and accomplishments. Its purposefully sarcastic tone is used to connect the message with today’s audiences.

Cutler-Fetkewicz not only embellishes “What Do I Know” with her performance abilities, but she also wrote and arranged its musical setting, including the violin solo coda.

Further, she served as one of the recording’s secondary producers.

Cutler-Fetkewicz is currently a tenured performer with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia She has toured nationally with vocalists running the range from Elvis Costello to Julie Andrews. Among numerous accolades, she was lauded for her performance of the violin solo from Schindler’s List, under the baton of the piece’s composer, John Williams.

Additional information on Alexandra Cutler-Fetkewicz is at the Philly Music Lab.
