Honeygrow, the fast-casual restaurant chain with locations in Wynnewood, Bala Cynwyd, and King of Prussia, offered free dessert-based “honeybars” on June 14 as part of its tenth-anniversary celebration, writes Maggie Mancini for the Philly Voice.

Customers tried the suggested honeybar selections or created one of their own using Honeygrow’s freshly made ingredients.

“Ten years is a significant milestone for any company and if not for the passion and dedication of our customers in supporting us through so much, we simply would not be here,” said Justin Rosenberg, founder and CEO of the Philadelphia-based company.

The first Honeygrow opened in 2012 in City Center. Over the last ten years, the company has expanded in the Philadelphia region, with more stores open in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

More openings are also slated for the following months, including in Willow Grove.

Additionally, the company used its tenth birthday to release its summer menu that contains two new dishes: the Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak Stir-Fry and the Cheesecake honeybar.
