A new bus route, offered by OurBus, will connect King of Prussia and Philadelphia with Jersey Shore hotspots, such as Margate, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, and Wildwood, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The service will launch on Thursday, May 19.

The route will start at King of Prussia Park and Ride and will stop at Philadelphia International Airport, NRG Station in South Philadelphia, and the Frank Sinatra Service Center in Galloway. There, passengers headed to Absecon, Ventnor, and Margate will switch to a luxury SUV or a sprinter van. Meanwhile, those who are heading to Sea Isle City, Ocean City, and Wildwood will take a minibus shuttle to their destinations.

Drop-off locations will be located near the beach in Shore town centers.

It is estimated that a trip from King of Prussia to Sea Isle would take nearly four hours on the Friday before Memorial Day, for example. The bus would leave at 12:45 p.m. and is scheduled to arrive at 4:30 p.m.

One-way fares for Absecon, Ventnor, and Margate start at $49, while Ocean City rates start at $23, according to the OurBus website.
