Six Montgomery County Restaurants to Try This Spring

As the calendar puts us solidly in the middle of Spring, we have seen our fill of wild and wacky weather, from 70-degree days to a messy snowy slush the next day, all within 24 hours. But if there is one thing we can depend on, it’s the many restaurants in Montgomery County that offer the best food, and spring is evident in their latest menu offerings.

King of Prussia’s City Works Eatery & Pour House, has a great new Spring menu, with items such as Crab Fondue brimming with jumbo lump crab meat, Humboldt Fog goat cheese, Parmesan cheese and, garlic herb butter with a toasted baguette.

They also have an Impossible Quesadilla, which is Impossible meat with jalapeño salsa verde, fresh mozzarella, queso fresco, avocado cream, corn cob, red cabbage, and micro cilantro on top.

To really ring in Spring, City Works Eatery & Pour House now offers a Mango Cucumber Mule with cucumber, honey syrup, mango syrup, fresh lime juice, and ginger beer.

The City Work Eatery & Pour house is located at 220 Main Street in King of Prussia.

Annamarie’s Place in Royersford has brought out a new tropical mango salad which evokes sunny skies and warm breezes with this bright salad plate, as well as her Spring pasta with broccoli rabe and sweet sausage. Check out Annamarie’s Place Facebook page for the latest spring menu offerings.

Hatboro Dish offers great breakfast items and is famous for the skillets, like the South Philly with steak meat sautéed with onions, sweet peppers and American cheese topped with two eggs or the Scrapyard, which is fried scrapple with onions, peppers, cheddar cheese over potatoes topped with two fried eggs.

For lunch, try the Sweet and Sour grilled cheese, with crisped brown sugar bacon and sliced dill pickle and American cheese on grilled rye toast.

Hatboro Dish is located at 102 S York Road in Hatboro.

The new Copper Whisk in the Valley Forge Casino and Resort has a fun new Spring menu, with Lunch offerings including several specials, including an indulgent Lobster Roll featuring Maine lobster meat and mayo on a grilled brioche roll, a “BLT Tower” double stacked BLT sandwich, and the “South Philly Philly” slow roasted pork shoulder sandwich topped with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone on a Liscio’s Italian roll, and sandwiches including a Chicken Avocado Wrap, 44Farms Philly Cheesesteak and Reuben.

The Copper Whisk is located at 1160 First Ave in King of Prussia.

JC’s Three Square Meals in Royersford has a great breakfast and lunch menu (stay appraised of hours or menu changes on their Facebook page.) Great American classics as well as pop-up dinners and catering (like goulash to go or soup-and-potato night) keep this place a hometown favorite.

JC’s is located at 1810 E Ridge Pike #101 in Royersford.

King of Prussia’s Hammer and Fire Restaurant located in the Alloy King of Prussia hotel, a DoubleTree by Hilton. Their Spring menus are full of freshness, with a white chicken chili, fresh greens, a sweet baby kale salad, maple-chipotle cedar plank salmon or the crab cake, among many other fresh selections.

Hammer and Fire is located at 301 West DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia.
