Perkiomen School Graduate Dreams Up Printfresh Pajamas

Leo and Amy Voloshin are living the dream. Their co-owned pajama brand Printfresh, which sells at King of Prussia Mall’s Anthropologie and other local outlets, has surpassed $10 million in revenue in two short years, enabling a great night’s sleep for these entrepreneurs. Lisa Dukart uncovered the details of the business in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Amy, a 1999 Perkiomen School graduate, and Leo, a Council Rock High School North graduate, awoke to the possibility of launching a sleepwear brand. Amy’s background in garment design sparked the sleepwear line with its signature leopard pattern.

The initial business plan was as wholesalers, but when the pandemic left the Voloshins with a warehouse of inventory, the couple restitched their futures as retailers.

Since its 2019 launch, Printfresh was wildly successful. And 2022 looks even more robust, as the brand has struck a deal with Anthropologie for zoologically themed home goods.

The Voloshins have also opened their first storefront, located in New York City.

The company principals have also imbued their business with a broader view than just pure capitalism. They’ve woven a commitment to sustainability into their business plan.

And as a nod to inclusion, they’ve committed to a broad range of sizes, from extra-small to 6X, enabling purchasers of all shapes to enjoy a luxurious, stylish sleep.
