While the population growth in the United States is slowing due to declining birth rates, an aging population, and fewer immigrants, some cities across the country have experienced higher population growths across the last decade. In Pennsylvania, four of these cities are in Montgomery County, according to a new report by Stacker.

Stacker has compiled a list of the fastest-growing cities in the Keystone State using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

King of Prussia ranked highest in fifth place with a population increase of 4,960 people between 2010 and 2020.

This puts the Montgomery County town in No. 1,019 among all cities nationwide.

King of Prussia had a population of 24,695 in 2020. This means that the population grew by 25.1 percent, which puts it in No. 178 in Pennsylvania and No. 4,558 among all cities nationwide.

Lansdale ranked in tenth place with a population increase over the last decade of 2,494 residents or 19.2 percent.

Next is Bryn Mawr in No. 12 with an increase in the population of 2,369, or 67.5 percent.

The list is rounded out with Norristown at No. 20 with a population change of 1,965, or 5.8 percent.
