Deloitte has published its latest report of the 500 fastest-growing technology and life sciences companies in North America and two Montgomery County companies has found its place among them, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Deloitte’s 2021 Technology Fast 500 Rankings grades companies based on their revenue growth percentage during the period from 2017 to 2020. The firms that qualified had to have a minimum operating revenue of $50,000 in fiscal 2017 along with at least $5 million in operating revenue for fiscal 2020.

All of the companies also needed to have been in business for a minimum of four years to be included on the list.

Next on Deloitte’s list was Clinical Ink, which was acquired by private-investment firm GI Partner a year ago.

They are based in Horsham. Its revenue grew 23% in the time period analyzed. In 2015, Clinical Ink ranks on Inc.’s list as the fast-growing company, and on Deloitte’s list, it has ranked Number 5 in PA.

Ambler-based Phenom, an HR tech company, ranked at No. 253 on Deloitte’s list, posting a growth of 519% from 2017 to 2020.

In April, Phenom was able to secure $100 million in Series D funding.

Phenom and Clinical Ink are two of six Philadelphia-area companies to find their places on this year’s list.
