Boardroom Spirits is more than doubling its Lansdale headquarters as it expands its new ready-to-drink cocktail program that proved popular during the pandemic, writes Laura Smythe for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The popular distillery is investing close to $300,000 to construct a 13,100-square-foot addition to its current 10,700-square-foot facility. This investment follows the strong growth of its cocktail program that helped the establishment weather the shutdowns.

The expansion, which is still several months away from the completion, will be used to house apparatus, such as bottling and canning lines, a chiller, and tanks, along with a healthy stock of inventory.

There is also a loading dock that can fit a tractor-trailer.

“What would take maybe a half-day is now less than an hour, we’re able to unload the whole thing,” said Mamedov. “The little things like that add up for us.”

The aim is to reduce inefficiencies and speed up the distillery’s production process. This will free up time and labor, which should help the distillery focus on growing its wholesale distribution and become a hub for craft canned cocktails on the East Coast, making up a good part of its business.
