Jennaphr Frederick of FOX 29’s Good Day Philadelphia visited Boardroom Spirits Distillery in Lansdale to celebrate Moscow Mule Day.

The local distillery is known for its amazing ginger vodka that is just right for the fizzy cocktail.

“It’s the perfect vodka for Moscow Mule,” said Vlad Mamedov, one of the distillery’s owners. “It’s made with real Brazilian ginger so it’s got an incredible amount of flavor and spice.”

The beauty of Moscow Mule is that it can be spiced up with different fruit, such as blackberries or cranberries, he added.

To make the Moscow Mule Day celebration more interesting, Frederick challenged the Boardroom’s bartender to a duel in the cocktail making – and everybody came out a winner in the end.

For those who are planning to give making Moscow Mule a try at home, Boardroom’s ginger vodka can be bought in the PLCB stores or it can be delivered within 30 miles of the distillery. The distillery also ships throughout Pennsylvania.

Additionally, boardroom offers cocktail-making classes at $69 per person – including a bottle to take home.
