March 27 Update: ZIP Codes Where COVID-19 Spread the Most and Least in Montgomery County

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County has been inching back up, although some areas have little or no new cases across the county, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News. Pennsylvania has now reached 1 million COVID-19 cases.

The latest data compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlights the cases of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending March 24, 2021 compared to the seven days prior.

The highest increase in during this period was in ZIP code 19522 (Pottsgrove) reported an increase of 2%, with 65 new cases, and the second highest was 2% in ZIP code 19446 (Lansdale) with 57 new cases recorded in the last week.

Zip Code 19040 (Hatboro) reported an increase of 3% with 34 new cases. ZIP Code 19403 (Eagleville) also reported an increase of 2% with 34 new cases, while ZIP Code 19468 (Royersford) reported an increase of 2% with 33 new COVID-19 cases. ZIP Code 19406 (King of Prussia) also reported a 2% increase with 31 new cases.

ZIP Code 19465 (St. Peter’s) reported an increase of 3% with 28 new cases, while ZIP Code 18073 (Pennsburg) reported an increase of 3% for a total of 18 new cases.

In terms of where COVID-19 has spread the least, ZIP Code 19473 (Schwenksville) has reported 1% new cases, 11 total; while ZIP Code 19127 (Bala Cynwyd) has 2% increase with 8 new cases.

ZIP Code 19025 (Dresher) reported an increase of 3% of 7 new cases, and ZIP Code 19003 (Ardmore) has an increase of 5% increase of new COVID-19 cases with a total of 3.

ZIP Code 19453 (Mont Clare) has reported zero new cases.

COVID-19 cases are trending up again in Montgomery County. Please continue wear a mask and wash your hands.
