Update: Here’s Where COVID-19 Cases are the Highest and Lowest via ZIP Codes

Continuing last week’s trend, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County continued to drop over the last seven days.

Still, some areas were more affected more than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending February 10 compared to infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in Montgomery County over this period was in ZIP Code 18074 (Perkiomenville.) Here cases increased by 8 percent to reach 259.

Next is ZIP Code 19475 (Spring City) with a 6 percent increase, followed by ZIP Codes 19004 (Bala Cynwyd) and 19009 (Bryn Athen) at 5 percent each.

Meanwhile, some ZIP Codes continue to report lower or no rises. These include ZIP Codes 19444 (Lafayette Hill) with a 2 percent increase and ZIP Code 19438 (Harleysville) with just one percent.

Finally, ZIP Code 19453 (Mont Clare) reported no new cases.
