Ramshield has introduced a revolutionary new shield that renders the coronavirus inactive by using an electrical charge from its incorporated electroceutical microcell technology, writes Fran Maye for the Daily Local News.

This unique shield can be reused for an entire year.

“We heard the governor’s call to action for businesses to expand and pivot into providing critical care into PPE,” said Samantha Partovi, president and managing director of Ramshield.

The company, in neighboring Chester County,  is capable of mass-producing the shield, said Partovi, even though it currently only has one manufacturing plant. The shields will be ready to ship early next week at the latest.

The AVF Shield and Cartridge System Kit is made from materials sourced in the United States. The cartridge – which is replaceable – uses patented technology to create an electrical charge that protects its user from the virus.

Some of the components of the AVF cartridge – which lasts for up to 90 days – are sourced directly in Pennsylvania.

“Pennsylvania’s businesses like Ramshield are using their skills, knowledge, and experience to benefit us all, and without their efforts, our road to recovery would be much longer and more difficult,” said PA DCED Secretary Dennis Davin.
