COVID-19 Alert PA App

In addition to following state guidelines, such as wearing a mask in all businesses, washing hands frequently, and practicing social distancing, The Pennsylvania Department of Health has launched the COVID-19 Alert PA app as an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Alert PA app uses the Exposure Notification System (ENS) by Apple and Google. Upon downloading the COVID-19 Alert PA app, the user has the option to receive notifications if they have potentially been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19

Users can aid in fighting the spread of COVID-19 by opting to report to the Pennsylvania Department of Health through the app daily if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. In response, the app will provide information on what to do and allow the user to track their symptoms.

The app also provides users with the latest facts and figures on COVID-19 in Pennsylvania.
