Pinto in Glenside is the latest endeavor from chefs Shannon Dougherty and Liz Petersen, who already own Cedar Point in Fishtown. The tiny newly opened BYOB, offers a menu of familiar Southwestern chow along with Sonoran hot dog, Navajo fry bread tacos, and many other tasty offerings.

Royal Cafe Narberth is owned by chef Josiah Richmond, who prepares 10-inch Neapolitan pizzas, salads, sandwiches, smash burgers, and a sizable lobster roll.

Meanwhile, LaScala’s Fire in Villanova features a bright, energetic look and also boasts a strong pizza selection alongside familiar Southern Italian favorites. The meatballs are a must-try.

Finally, Rosalie at the Wayne Hotel is run by father-daughter duo Marty and Sydney Grims. The pair have transformed the Wayne Hotel restaurant into a plush Italian comfort-food eatery that features something for everybody. There is also a bar with 120 wine bottles and beers, as well as delicious Italian cocktails.
