Dr. Brannon Claytor, Chief of Plastic Surgery for Main Line Health Systems, is one of Philadelphia Style Magazine’s modern men of Philadelphia who are being recognized as industry leaders and shaping the future of their respective fields.
For Claytor, creativity and ingenuity were a vital part of his upbringing. His passion for seeking out challenging tasks led him to become a fishing guide in Alaska and later a commercial airline pilot, all in his early twenties.
A mission trip to Ecuador treating children with cleft palate and cleft lip birth defects ignited his passion for plastic surgery.
Today, Claytor is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in facial rejuvenation and body sculpting surgery. With over 15 years of experience, he is one of Philadelphia’s premier cosmetic surgeons.
In addition to Bryn Mawr Hospital, he operates in his own AAAA certified surgical facility also in Bryn Mawr.
And as well as his position as Main Line Health’s chief of plastic surgery, Claytor recently served on the COVID-19 task force for the Aesthetic Society. He also recently completed a chapter on gynecomastia surgery for a new textbook.
