Sprouts Farmers Market is planning to open a new store in Upper Dublin on September 2 and is looking to hire 110 people to fill new positions, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The specialty grocer will open a 30,000-square-foot store at the Promenade at Upper Dublin. The mixed-use development will also have apartments and open retail space. It is being developed by BET Investment.

This new location will be Sprouts’ second one in Pennsylvania, following a 32,000-square-foot store in Philadelphia that opened in September 2018.

Among the positions the grocer is looking to fill are department manager, cashiers, and courtesy clerks, among others. To honor COVID-19-related restrictions, the company is planning to host a virtual hiring fair on July 22 and 23.

Sprouts’ new home is one of the biggest suburban, mixed-use developments currently under construction. The $200 million project involves the development of 128,000 square feet of retail space, a 402-unit apartment complex, and a 2.7-acre park.

The retail space will be anchored by Sprouts, HomeGoods, and a Pennsylvania Fine Wine and Good Spirits.
