Ash Ambirge, a local lifestyle blogger and author, has written a book on how to get rid of imposter syndrome, writes Gina Tomaine for the Philadelphia Magazine.

The Middle Finger Project by Ash Ambirge is available on Amazon.com.

With “The Middle Finger Project,” which is also the name of her media company, the writer is hoping to help people stop playing small and work on pursuing their goals.

Ambirge grew up in a trailer park in rural Pennsylvania. Her mother had severe social anxiety and died when the author was young.

“She was assaulted in the parking lot outside of the Plymouth Meeting Mall when I was just a baby,” said Ambirge, adding that she was never the same after that.

After her mother died, the author felt the need to chart her own path to a successful life. Her journey is what prompted her to write this book.

“I know how to be brave,” she said. “I know how to trust my voice.  I know how to laugh in the face of circumstance. ”

Now, she is hoping her readers will find this same voice to help propel them forward in life.
