Abington Friends School – a vibrant, joyful, and ambitious Quaker school in Jenkintown that serves students from age 3 to grade 12 – will host an Admission Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 9-11 AM.

Registration begins at 8:30 AM.

This is a great opportunity to observe classes and see how students and teachers connect at AFS, which cultivates fearless, curious learning in a culture of intellectual and creative ambition. Students leave AFS with clear, strong, and thoughtful voices, prepared for lives of meaning and accomplishment.

AFS is excited to share information and answer questions about its college preparatory academic program and more. The event concludes with a Q&A panel consisting of students, parents, and faculty.

Quaker values of equality, integrity, simplicity, community, peace, and stewardship are at the core of AFS’s mission and daily life. At AFS, students develop deep roots of inner strength and the ability to thrive in dynamic settings. They are fully immersed in the classroom experience, in the arts, on playing fields, and in the precious times they enjoy just being together on the playgrounds or in the Student Commons.

Students come to AFS – which sits on a 50-acre campus with fields, a creek, an arboretum, and a Quaker Meetinghouse – from more than 68 ZIP Codes in the Greater Philadelphia area. One hundred percent of its students attend a four-year college.
